Before Cat's A Bear, before JD and the Sons of Rhythm, before One World Tribe and JD Jazz and Blues and all the rest, there was Player's Lounge. This experimental group explored the parameters of collective improvisation in the early '80s.

The band sought out sudden breaks, changes and mutations, using metric modulation and sharp style changes to create spontaneous form. Rock, Swing, Blues, Funk, Avant Garde, Spoken Word, all flowing from one moment to the next.

This second release contains two extended tracks, each spelling out a unique story in musical time.

Have a seat in the Player's Lounge and enjoy the ride.
